Guaranteed Love and A Book I Think You’d Like

The afternoon began with a mixture of tears and friends and sisters. One of my kids felt left out, less than loved. And that brought tears. Because eight-year-olds (and who am I kidding 40-year-olds and 80-year-olds, too) just want to be included. Just need to know they matter and would be missed if they weren’t around.

It doesn’t make sense, the way He loves. In all truth, why should Almighty God, Who holds earth in His palm, care to notice any one of us? I mean, really, think about it. Who are any of us that the Creator and Maintainer of the whole universe should initiate a plan to ensure our life-filled eternity?
These are the thoughts that ran through my mind as read Anne’s words about His intimate kindness, personally intended for each one of us.
Through her own stories, she reminded me that He cares for me so completely as well.
I read through the book in a few short hours. A few lovely hours of fresh breath for my spirit.
